I cried the morning I left London to fly back. Sorry to be leaving or sorry to come home?
Was I missing the French countryside that felt like home (funny, I bought a set of dishes a few years ago that was called French Countryside!)?
Was I missing my Mary Magdalene pilgrimage mates and my roommate Karen Ann?
Missing my English cousin Jon and his wife Elaine? I had such a wonderful time with them, and they were so good to me.
Or was I sad because I was coming home to an empty house?
As I pondered those questions, I reminded myself that my new way of living is to let my heart lead. I don’t need to think to discover the why.
This is the main lesson for me after months of reading Mary’s words, channeled through several authors. And always the same message. The Divine Feminine is returning to the planet and teaches us that we will survive and thrive by letting the heart lead. The old masculine ways by which we’ve lived – competition, hiding vulnerability, ego-led – the old ways are coming to an end. And the answer is revealing itself.
I struggle to summarize such a transformative adventure. I’m feeling more grounded, now that I’ve been home for a couple of weeks. “Do you think you’ll go back?” The answer is a resounding yes! This trip scratched the surface, gave me simply a sample of the land, enough to feel like I’d been there before. And an awareness of how much more I now wish I had seen and experienced but didn’t have the time or the energy. We did alot of hiking! The picture below is near the top of a one hour hike up to the Grotte de Sainte Marie Madeleine at St. Baume. If you’re interested, here is the link to a short video of this hike filmed by artist Dominque Hurley on the 2023 Mary Magdalene pilgrimage.
I want to go back to Provence, the Languedoc and the stunning foothills to the Pyrenees so I can spend some leisurely time there, getting to know the people, hearing the history from the descendants of the Cathars, the persecuted people almost wiped out during the Inquisition. The mountains and valleys and beautiful forests where I feel closest to the descendents of Yeshua, the Marys and the Druids who lived there 2000 years ago and more.
And I want to go back to Paris, take my grandson and daughter, see it at a more leisurely pace. To take taxis when I get tired of walking. No matter the cost. To attend a concert in a breathtaking neoclassical space such as Le Madeleine Church. It was closed the day we planned to visit. And to take a luncheon boat trip on the Seine, leisurely night-time dinners in restaurants decorated with spectacular light fixtures and silk flowers, and finally to follow the iconic Rose Line brass markers through the city. Oh, and experience the colossal Notre Dame cathedral once it reopens.
But for now, work and a to-do list still await me this fall. If you haven’t yet had a chance, please check out my website and sign up for my newsletters/blog posts. And if you’re reading this on my website, welcome! I’m continuously coming across important new information relating to consciousness, our food supply, alternative health treatments and more so if this resonates with you let’s create this new world together!
Pathfinders Healing Circle
I’ll be having a small in-person healing circle the afternoon of November 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at my place in Maple Ridge. I’d love to have you attend if you’re in the area. Send me a text at 604-612-0933 if you can make it. The time seems ripe to resume in-person events; if you are at a distance and would like to attend another zoom healing circle, please let me know. If there is enough interest, I’ll plan another one.
Upcoming craft fair
And if you’re in the Maple Ridge area, I invite you to check out the Craft fair happening at Bean around Books coffee shop, 22626 Lougheed Hwy on November 16th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. I’ll be there offering some frequency-infused jewellery to help support you with anxiety, abundance and healthy relationships.
Until next time, much love,
Dailaan
